Riverdale Bridge
Perched high above the Grand River, the Riverdale Covered Bridge has stood strong since 1874, showcasing the timeless beauty of a 114-foot Town lattice design. Over the years, this historic bridge has undergone several renovations to maintain its strength and charm. Steel bracing was added in 1945, and in 1981, the floor was rebuilt with glue-laminated wood girders for extra reinforcement. After floodwaters washed out the road at the east end in 1987, a new concrete abutment was constructed to ensure its stability for generations to come.
