Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival will be celebrating its 39th Annual Festival to be held October 14th and 15th, located at the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds (127 N. Elm Street, Jefferson, OH)
We're scheduling volunteers for the festival. If you would like to help with setup on Friday Oct 13th, or with handing out maps and information or working in the souvenir booth on Saturday or Sunday please call the office. The shifts are 9:30-1 and 1-5 for souvenir and info booth workers. The office number is 440-576-3769.
Creek Rd. Bridge is hosted by Conneaut Rotary during the festival (Oct 14-15)

Olin Bridge will be hosted by the Ashtabula Dream Center during the festival. They will have a bake sale, fudge, jams, fall crunch, cookies, breads and more and coffee and water.

During the festival (Oct 14-15) State Rd. Bridge is hosted by the Monroe Fire Dept.
They will have a campfire and hot dogs that you can roast over the fire yourself. They will also have hoagies and baked goods for sale to support the Fire Dept.

South Denmark Bridge will be hosted by the Scribbens of Artistic Woodworks with Barn Quilt Trail info, and info about painting barn quilts.

Benetka Rd. Bridge is hosted by the Sheffield Fire Dept. There will be horse drawn wagon rides through the bridge provided by the Sackett Family (weather permitting). Marion Peck has been hosting this bridge for many years and is still doing it at 89 years old! Donuts and cider are provided by the Fire Dept, and there will be tea and coffee.

Harpersfield Bridge will not have it's usual activities during the Festival because of the construction going on. You can access the park from the north or south, but there will be a lot of machinery and pieces of the bridge around, so please be respectful of the worksite if you visit.

During the festival (Oct 14-15th) Graham Rd. Bridge is hosted by the Pierpont Beautification Committee and the Pierpont Community Action League. They will decorate the bridge and have pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, coffee and pop and a variety of homemade baked goods for sale.

During the festival (Oct 14-15th) Doyle Rd Bridge is hosted by BSA Troop 41 of Jefferson. They will have a photo station, and be selling cobbler, hot dogs, sausages, pop, coffee, water and chips.

.During the festival (Oct 14-15th) Netcher Rd. Bridge will be hosted by the Ashtabula Co. Humane Society. They will have volunteers to answer questions about the Humane Society, and hope to see some of the pets who were in their care. They will be selling crafts, shirts and jackets, baked goods and walking tacos.

During the Covered Bridge Festival Caine Road Bridge is hosted by the Krieger family for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Lenape tribe will be doing native American dances and drumming. The Peterson family is doing face painting and kids games. Krieger family- bounce house . Hot dogs, chips and drinks by donations. Partial proceeds to cystic fibrosis foundation. Raffles... 12x 18 framed photo of the Caine Rd covered bridge Donated by Beth Sito Photography, 30 day family membership for the YMCA with assorted goodies Lots of raffle baskets A lemonade stand -cystic fibrosis Bake sale items. The diaper ministry will be there also.

W. Liberty St. Bridge in Geneva is hosted by Helping Hands Farm Animal Rescue. They will be raising money to help care for farm animals in the shortest covered bridge. Thank you to Gray's Auto Sales and Ashtabula and Geneva's Giant Eagle Stores for donating food and drinks for them to sell! There will be coloring pages for kids and a Lucky Duck game for all ages. At the bridge entrance will be props and displays for photo opportunities.

During the Festival (Oct 14-15) Root Rd Bridge is hosted by Ashtabula Aktion Club (Kiwanis of Ashtabula). They will have baked goods, homemade potato chips, probably other food and club information.

During the Covered Bridge Fest (Oct 14-15th) Smolen Gulf Bridge is hosted by E. Plymouth Grange. They will be serving sloppy joes, stuffed peppers, hot dogs, water, pop and baked goods, and possibly hot soup. There will be other vendors at the bridge like Boy Scouts with elephant ears and Debbie Friedstrom with pumpkins and gourds.
